with the patronage of the Municipality of Ardea, is pleased to present “LA VENERE LONGBOARD CLASSIC”, an event dedicated to the celebration of classic Longboard, music, friendship and environmental protection, which will take place at the La Venere in Bikini beach.
The competition will include the following Open categories: female and male.
La Venere in Bikini together with its partners (Partesa Latina & Caffé Sciubba) will make available a cash prize of € 2000 to be divided between the top finishers of both categories.
The Waiting Period will extend from 1st July to 31st August, with embargo on all weekends, the call will take place 48 / 72h in advance.
Two international brands of excellence will support the contest at the forefront, O’neill and Ocean & Earth, they will provide many prizes including technical material, wetsuits, bags, leashes and much more together with the famous City Beach Boardshop flanked by Finjak and Surf To Live; this last will be giving away 2 stays at one of its beautiful facilities.
The event will also see protagonists:
- many other national companies that will fully support the event with prizes and stands on the beach including Dr FIX, SALT Sea & Soul, Adalù Bikini, FEDE Surfbags, TATINI, Megazinco, Natural BOOM and many more.
- The Save the Sea Rome association, which for years has been involved in organizing the clean up of beaches and natural environments on the coast and its surroundings.
The contest will be evaluated continuously by the careful eye of an expert jury in the sector, who will decide the winners, coming from all over Italy and Europe, based on who will express the best classic style during all the heats; style, fluidity, speed, risk and control will be the criteria to be met.
